Men’s Guide to a Great Online Dating Experience
May 21st, 2009
There are more women than men signing up for online dating services, which means that there’s not much competition and that there’s more chances of finding your dream girl online. Don’t be so full of yourself, though. Women are cautious about online dating because there are just as many frauds on the web as in the real dating scene. Your online dating experience shouldn’t be difficult or frustrating. It’s just that sometimes, it’s not just the men who read “men’s guide” to dating. Women do so to see if you’re trying to pull a fast one. So get rid of the cheesy pick-up lines, and read these online dating tips that work.
Men’s guide to understanding women
Don’t try too hard to impress women. You’d be surprised to learn that respect and honesty go a long way. Remember stuff from your last conversation. There’s nothing more frustrating to a woman than having to answer the same questions over and over, unless the ones doing the asking are her friends. If it were a man, it would mean that the guy wasn’t paying attention. Don’t give her false ideas about what you do or which hot celebrity you look like. Tell one lie, and she’ll realize that it doesn’t add up to your story.
Online dating tips that work before your first real date
Don’t be pushy. Be patient until she’s ready to divulge personal information. She’s as wary as you are of possibly hooking up with a psycho. Although it’s understandable that you’d want to see if she looks anything like her profile photo, don’t rush her into getting on the webcam. She’d think that you’re superficial. Do post full-body (but decent) pictures of yourself enjoying regular activities. She’ll be comfortable doing the same, since you appear as real as possible. However, steer clear of sexual innuendos. Even if you’re both getting comfy with your conversations, don’t risk sounding like a pervert.
Make her feel safe about meeting you. Ask her where she’d be more comfortable meeting up and make it a lunch date. Stick to what you remember from your online chats and let the conversation roll. Be spontaneous, but don’t make your succeeding dates a spur-of-the-moment thing unless you want her to think it’s a booty call.
